Mitsubishi Evo AYC / ACD Pump Repair Specialists
AYC faults are becoming a problem for many Mitsubishi Evo owners. We’re seeing more and more cars displaying the dreaded ‘three AYC lights’.
A common cause of problems with the Evo range is the Active Yaw control (AYC) pump. The AYC pump commonly corrodes internally, breaking seals and increasing distances between components, which need to be within a fine tolerance for the pump to produce pressure.
But don’t worry, a solution is here! If your car is suffering from low pump pressure or a faulty solenoid we can help.
Our AYC pump rebuilds use new bearings, new pump sandwich plate, seals etc. We also have specialist “plug in” wiring harnesses for manually bleeding the AYC pump. All our AYC pump rebuilds are on an exchange basis, and we can also remove and refit the AYC pump from/to your vehicle including bleeding the centre and rear diffs, depending on your model, be it an Evo 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 (iv, v, vi, vii, viii, ix or x)
We now offer Full AYC pump rebuilds on your old unit (POA), or if you’re stuck for time and don’t want your car off the road too long, we also offer a part exchange service.
How to order
Simply call us, tell us your delivery address and we will send you a fully-rebuilt and pressure tested pump, on a next day delivery service.
We ask for a deposit of £699 for an evo X pump, £599 for evo 7-9 pumps, £499 for Evo 4-6 pumps to cover the cost of the rebuilt unit and shipping. Once we receive your old unit and inspect it, we will then make sure we can repair it and refund you £100 within 7 days of receiving your pump.
There are however, very few cases where these pumps are beyond repair, so please bear this in mind. If the pump you send us is unserviceable, we will not be able to issue you with a surcharge refund.
Please call any time to discuss your options,
Auto Torque are pleased to announce a new product designed in house for the relocation of the AYC pump from its original location, to the boot space.
