Nissan GT-R Brake Upgrades
NISSAN GTR R35 BRAKES OPTIONS
A common weak point on the Nissan GTR braking system is the Brembo drilled discs which are standard from the factory. They are prone to cracking under heavy braking and high temperatures, especially when used on the track. When replacement is due, we highly recommended opting for a grooved or j-hook disc, over the original drilled discs, to prevent cracking occurring. The GTR braking effort can be increased dramatically by upgrading the disc and pad material along with braided brake lines and brake fluid.
If you are a regular track day attendee, you may want to consider upgrading to one of the big brake kits below for the optimum braking performance.

AP Big Brake Upgrade Kit:
Consists of larger six pot front calipers and 410mm discs. Four pot rear calipers with 400mm discs available in both grooved and j hook design.
Standard caliper colours available are red or black, however, custom colour changes are available.
